Fitpluswell is Sydney’s premier strength and conditioning facility with a client centered approach. While most gyms in Sydney offer group classes or personal training, Fitpluswell has created a fundamental change in how people train that no one else is able to replicate.

Our belief is simple, in order to achieve long lasting and sustainable results you must have the best programs. You can only have the best program from the best assessments. The best assessments are created from a deep understanding of the client and a deep understanding of how the body moves and works.

ABOUT YOU

You might have had a previous bad experience at the gym. You may be a nervous first-timer, or you became disillusioned with the ‘fitness factories’ and see a trip to the gym as nothing more than a fix to bad decisions.

In many gyms, clients are in and out without saying a word to each other and we definitely didn’t want that for FitPlusWell. From day one, we made sure that everyone knows who they are training alongside and as a result a supportive community has grown to make your gym experience the best it can be.

For those worried about injury we come with a physio background and treat and train clients across the entire rehab-performance continuum. From resolving back pain to inspiring people to embrace resistance training, our goal is to get people to their maximum physical potential and get the most out of life.

    JOEY

    FITNESS COACH

    My real name is actually ‘Joseph’ but have been given the nick name ‘Joey’ at a very young age because it was an easier name to call out when playing sports. I started my Personal Training career in 2016 and have also competed in national powerlifting, now BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and also plan to study nutrition further in the year 2021. But do not be fooled, I also like to have fun and even sometimes have to use the ‘do as I say, not what I do’ quote to my clients. My philosophy for fitness is simple… Find what you enjoy and if you want results, put in the work.

    MARK O’BRIEN

    FITNESS COACH

    I’m Mark, a coach with 20 years in the health and fitness industry and a physio background. I’m determined to do gyms differently. Having worked in many fitness centres, it became obvious to me that most people found gyms intimidating and they weren’t getting results or a good service for their money. So, it wasn’t too long before they lost interest and stopped going. Sound familiar? In traditional gyms, you’re either left to your own devices or you pay for a personal trainer, but there is another way. My signature, cost-effective sessions offer constant coaching and ongoing support for less than the cost of one PT session. I blend the science of strength and conditioning and physio principles for long-lasting and sustainable results, and I make sure it’s done with a smile on your face.

    With a background in sales, time came to shift the balance and transform my passion into a job. For me fitness is fun, liberating, empowering, challenging and requires sacrifice – but always be for the better! We are built to move and I want to help people reach their fitness goals while having fun!

    What I also like about fitness are the challenges it can bring on and the multiple paths you can follow to always keep it entertaining and to better yourself. There are always new tricks to learn and way to improve, new things to discover and new goals to set. Fitness is a never-ending journey and we as trainers are here to help you along the way.
